SCORING CRITERIA

q All participants in any of the SBYA BOTY series events that have a current, valid, WFPHRF certificate, are automatically entered in the SBYA BOTY competition.

q The 2005-2006 SBYA BOTY series will be scored on the high point system, with each properly registered boat being awarded 1 point for each boat they beat in each individually scored race in the BOTY series.

q One participation point will be awarded to each boat competing in each individual race conducted in a regatta for which the boat is properly registered.

q A BOAT’S FINAL SCORE WILL BE COMPRISED OF THAT BOAT’S BEST FINISHING SCORES IN 50% OF RACES SCORED IN THE BOTY REGATTAS.
